Buzzi operates 1 cement plant located in Hranice, in the eastern part of the country. In 1997 the plant has undergone major refurbishing, which made it highly competitive in production costs. The production capacity is higher than 1,1 million tons/year.

The subsidiary Zapa Beton, operating in the ready-mix concrete and natural aggegate industry, is market leader with 63 batching plants located both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and 6 aggregate quarries. 

The total number of employees in the region is 700.
