In Germany Buzzi operates through the fully owned subsidiary Dyckerhoff GmbH, a company established in 1864 which boasts a very long tradition in the industry and is the second largest cement producer in the country. 

Dyckerhoff operates 5 full-cycle cement plants and 2 grinding plants, with an installed production capacity of approximately 7 million tons/year. There are also 2 distribution terminals and 3 natural aggregate quarries. In the ready-mix sector 110 batching plants are in operation.

Overall the company employs 1,796 people.

Dyckerhoff has always been a leader in the building materials technology. The “Wilhelm Dyckerhoff Institut”, a research and development centre based in Wiesbaden by the corporate office, actively cooperates with the Built R&D Centre in Vercelli (Iyaly) and greatly contributes to the continuous innovation and high quality standards of the group.
