In its home country, Buzzi Unicem manufactures and distributes cement, ready-mix concrete, natural aggregates and related products.

In the cement division the company operates 8 plants, 3 grinding facilities, 3 terminals located throughout the country. With a production capacity of approx.10 million tons/year, Buzzi Unicem is the second largest industry player in the country.

In the ready-mix concrete division the subsidiary Unical, in business since more than 50 years, is a leader in product quality and service. It operates 113 batching plants and 6 quarries where the natural aggregates used to produce concrete are extracted and processed.

Overall Italian operations employ 1,538 people, including the group’s headquarters in Casale Monferrato (AL).
