The company recently launched ASI, Axia Sustainable Index, which accompanies the already existing Axia Global Corporate Bond and Axia Global Sustainable Index, all aimed at socially responsible investing.
The Axia Sustainable Index consists of 40 stocks that have been screened by Axia and are listed on the Italian stock exchange. The companies in the basket are ranked based on capitalization and must have a rating greater than 50, equal to A++. The index values the great effort made by individual companies to support sustainability in their management of environmental and social policies and in their corporate governance.
Included in the Axia Sustainable Index basket are large banking and national industrial groups, including Buzzi Unicem. Ratings updates and daily index returns are available from the ASCA press agency, a partner in the initiative, on the new Il Mondo website, the Axia Financial Research website, and many other financial vendor websites.
