Safety Award Presented to Heartland Cement

The recognition of safety in the workplace is one of the major focuses of the Portland Cement Association through their “Safety Awards Program”. During the “Safety Awards Ceremony” which was held on May 2, 2001, during the IEEE/PCA Annual Technical Conference in Vancouver, Heartland Cement was presented an award for operating for one full year without a lost time accident. They in fact, had 543 consecutive injury free days.
