Concretos Moctezuma has completed construction of the largest, most modern ready-mix concrete production plant in the country. The new plant will strengthen the company’s position in the market and extend its radius of operations within the huge urban conglomeration of Mexico City.
The new batching plant was designed to very high standards to ensure the production of top quality concrete and optimize the efficiency of its processes, but still keeping an eye on the environment. The design of the plant emphasizes functionality, practicality, ease of maintenance and the reduction of environmental impact by greatly decreasing water consumption by means of an innovative recycling system for the water used to wash the concrete mixers, accompanied by a rainwater collection system.

The vertical, tower-shaped plant is equipped with the latest generation systems, including a 2.5 m3 mixer. Thermal and acoustic insulation systems have also been installed to make it one of the most ecocompatible plants currently in operation. The vertical structure of the Planta Central ensures high-performance production operations and provides ample storage space, while the tower shape greatly reduces the surface area required for the construction site.
